I’ve seen too much
I’ve watched two innocent people be brutally murdered, and watched perverse excuses for Americans rejoice over those murders. It’s disturbing, discouraging, disorienting, and disgusting. I have been shocked and sad and angry.

I don’t think it is an overstatement to say that the assassination of Charlie Kirk has changed America forever and pushed us to an inevitable brink. The brutal murder of Iryna Zarkutska not only exposed a monster for whom our justice system is responsible, but, along with the Kirk assassination/martyrdom, revealed that our American society is plagued with some despicable parasites.
The makings of civil war are cropping up everywhere. I don’t know how deep the outrage goes but we are not exempt from such things. In fact, we are witnessing less common sense, morality, and basic decency from modern Americans than ever before.
But, if we believe in Jesus, there are some bedrock truths that we must continue to stand upon.
•Nothing has happened that He has not allowed. (Only the immature would interpret that statement as saying “God did these things or approves of them.”) It doesn’t mean He doesn’t care or that it doesn’t matter. It means He is still in control.
•None of the things we are outraged about have changed God’s plan or His will or His promises.
•The enemy, although he seems to be wearing skin right now, is Satan. Not flesh and blood; not ultimately.
•No weapon is more powerful than prayer.
•If the Church will actually be the Church—a return to actual Book-of-Acts Christianity—God will do through the Church more than any other approach will accomplish.
•Allowing hatred and bitterness to take root in your heart is not a godly response and will only increase the enemy’s body count.
•Be the solution in your every day life
Please take this in the way it is meant, but What would Charlie Kirk do? I think if we stick close to that we will land just about right!

Valid points all, sir. We need to remember WHO we are, and WHO He is. We can’t get through this without him. God help us. Keep us close. Help us to remember the words of your Son Jesus Christ. Let us not fall away from the bride, your church.
