Answer the Question
Is Bitcoin like stock? In other words, will I lose everything? The answer is “No.” Bitcoin is a currency. So, if I exchange my $17,034.94 in exchange for a Bitcoin (the going rate five seconds ago) what I now have is not $17,034.94 but a digital Bitcoin worth $17,934.94. If the value of a Bitcoin drops to $2 tomorrow, I still have a Bitcoin—it’s just not worth as many American dollars as it was when I exchanged my dollars for Bitcoin.
