Watch as this person gets an RFID chip implanted in her hand! (Beware! There is some language in this video.)

For many years, Christians have sounded the warning about chip implants being the mark of the beast (or at least the way it could be implemented). Some Christians even worry that someone who has a chip implant has taken the mark of the beast already. Of course, if there is not yet a beast then there is not yet a mark of the beast. I have written about RFID chips myself.

Are These Chips for Real?

Until now, implanted RFID chips have been used in pets, supposedly in the military, considered for hospitals, and in isolated businesses outside of America (RFID technology is commonly used in department stores, etc.).

We have also seen that RFID chip technology can be put into ink and used in tattoos if so desired.

The plot is still thickening, however. It seems that the latest development is the use of implanted RFID chips for the purpose of storing cryptocurrency.

If that doesn’t make sense to you, you are behind and need to catch up with the concept of cryptocurrency: It is not just a concept anymore. More and more they have real-world usages.

What Does This Have to Do With the Mark of the Beast?

If you are familiar with the Book of Revelation, you may have noticed that the mark of the beast will be necessary, among other things, for economic transactions.

16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666 (Revelation 13:16–18 (NIV84).

The reason someone might get these implants for cryptocurrency is to keep it secure from hackers.

The article, entitled “I Got the Mark of the Beast, and it will Hold My Bitcoin,” was written by the woman in the video above. No, the article is not really about the mark of the beast, nor did she get such a mark. As I already indicated, there is currently no known beast and therefore no mark. But I find it interesting that such an idea is ingrained even in secular culture. In fact, this article from 2018 refers to it as well along with the video below:

Who Cares?

The reason things like this matter to me is that they demonstrate the gradual nature of the kind of change necessary in order for the Antichrist to gain power. When he steps out onto the world scene, it will be as though he is doing everyone a favor. The global culture will have been so prepped for his appearance that it will seem logical.

27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him Daniel 9:27).

When it comes time for the mark of the beast to become reality, the world at that time won’t be surprised, it will make sense. Right now it is making more and more sense to bankers, retailers, hospitals, the military, businesses with many employees, and, apparently, cryptocurrency users.
